The Caper – September 2022 Edition

Fall is coming Capers! After a season of hot, it’s time to alter the script and cool us down. Take this time to thank your Beach Attendants for 2022. Beau, in his Presidential Message thanks all of them for their hard work this year. He also wants to remind everyone about the time changes for the schools this year… be sure to see how it will alter your morning plans. More details on this in his messaage.

Ryan, the Town Manager, offers up advice on renovating your lawn during the fall season as well as announces the upcoming dates for Cape Clean up (September 23rd and 24th) as well as the next Quarterly Membership Meeting on October 25th at 7:30pm. More details in his update.

In community news, Goshen Farm had a very successful Summer Concert series and thanked many of the people who helped put it all together. Their Open House is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 17th. More information on this and all of the other things going on in Goshen World can be found in this month’s Caper.

The Cape Garden Club has collectively contributed more than 100 volunteer hours this summer maintaining 4 community beds in the Green Holly and Cape St. Claire Islands, the clubhouse front beds & Segree Memorial Park. Thanks to them for their hard work and efforts. It looks great! More details on the Garden Club’s other awards can be found in this month’s Caper.

Cape Conservation Corps wants to remind you about their Native Fall Plant Fest and Sale taking place on September 17th from 9am to noon at the field behind the clubhouse.
